Review on 🎨 Sennelier Soft Pastels Half Stick Set - Seaside Collection - 30-Piece Package by Kristen Reid

After starting with a cheaper brand these pastels have become a real discovery for painting. The pigment is exceptional and they are soft, so soft. Many people say that dark shades are crumbling and not so soft. As a newbie, I didn't know how to interpret this particular complaint. Now that I've used them, yes the darker shades are more difficult to use, they don't flake off but they aren't so rough or brittle that they fall apart in my hands when I use them. Even the most problematic shades weren't as fragile as I thought. All I know is that they easily layer on top of each other without messing up and my pictures look better with this simple update. Highly recommended.
