Review on ☕ Victor Allen's Italian Roast Coffee K Cups - Dark Roast, 80 Count - Keurig 2.0 Compatible by Maurice Rivera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great taste at a modest price

Like many others, I have heard many horror stories about K-Cup, including cups that don't work, cups that leak, cups with hardened coffee, etc... Before first thing in the morning I just want a coffee that tastes decent, is dark, strong, works consistently, and also one that I'm not paying a high price for because it's branded somewhere (My son MUST have a Starbucks Breakfest A blend, it costs a lot.) So after looking through many smaller (and less expensive) brands of dark coffee, I finally found one that offered consistent quality and good taste at a decent price. The taste is decent. I'm no coffee expert but I can tell the difference between crap and decent. Does it taste like Starbucks/Dunkin' Donut? No, but it's not far from it. The cup also WORKS all the time. I've never had a cup clog or drain very slowly. I've never had a bowl of flour. It's just predictable and efficient in the way it works. After tasting you will get a dark and strong coffee taste. Not watery, but not overpowering either. In fact, it's more of a strong medium roast blend than a true dark roast. However, the price is fantastic and the quality is there. So buy with confidence.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
