Works well but doesn't hold up well everywhere

I wanted to use this to mount small USB lightbulbs under my wooden cabinets. Even after very thorough cleaning of the surface, it didn't last. So far they've worked pretty well for other things. Much cheaper than command bars and they do exactly the same thing.
