Basically a VERY strong pair of pliers with extras. The tool does not feel light in the hand giving confidence that it can withstand some use and abuse. The pliers really grip and won't let go because of the grooves until you release the pressure. What I immediately noticed is that when you open the tool for use with pliers, the folding tools are all tucked away in the handles, meaning the tool fits comfortably in your hand. Let's face it, if you need to press on the handles, use pliers. It's a neat feature that the lead multi-tool doesn't seem to have - check out the pictures to see how folding tools are stored when using pliers. I prefer the Wetols multi tool style. Anything that needs to be sharp will be sharp and the hex socket is a great addition giving you a variety of screwdriver options. Screwdriver bits fit into the included holder (They do not need to be permanently attached to the tool itself). All collapsible tools lock in the open position for safety and simply squeeze a small lever to neatly fold them back into their handles. I also have a small flint/steel lighter tucked into the side of the holder - a handy camp stand when this tool is used most often. Great price for a VERY effective tool. Good work Wetols!
