The mascara itself is AMAZING. I love the brush, the texture of the mascara and the way it dries. It can be applied very gently and remains on the skin after drying without smearing. It then rinses off with water very easily - it doesn't turn into a messy mess, it just flakes off with water (so I guess it doesn't smudge). I bought it mainly because it was cruelty free and had great reviews, but liked what one customer wrote about being an Alaskan tour guide. I was planning to head out on a hike a week after this arrival and wanted something that would help me do my best but wouldn't be ridiculous on a week-long hike. It worked great then and it still does today! The only downside I had was that the wand broke during the mentioned hike. It may have been because the wand was out in the cold and didn't like the pressure I was putting on it, but I was still very disappointed that the wand broke less than a week after owning it. HOWEVER, I contacted Elisabeth Mott. When I got home I asked for a new wand and they sent me a brand new tube! Customer service says it will take a few hours to reply to my email inquiry and they responded in less than an hour and the new handset arrived within a day or two. The overall customer service experience has been so incredibly enjoyable that I look forward to purchasing more Elisabeth Mott products. Great job guys!
