Review on 🌐 White 30ft Shielded Cat5e Ethernet Cable - Outdoor Waterproof, Direct Burial, Pure Copper by Rob Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Durable and easy to use

Seems like a great cable (and 100ft long for sure). I tested it for speed after pairing it with surge protectors on each end ("POE+/RJ-45 Outdoor Surge Protector (Shielded) for Thunder and Lightning (Gigabyte)" purchased with cable from Ultra Spec), and I get the same bandwidth as everywhere else in the house. I have a mix of Gigabit switching, Cat6 and Cat5e and can't expect more than the slowest point. No surprises with this Cat5e cable. This cable works exactly like the RG6 external coaxial cable I've been using for my satellite TV for over 10 years. I've only had to replace this coax once (last year) and if this cable lasts half as long it's worth the price. I'd say it can be bent a little more than coax without having to worry about kinks. With a smooth outer jacket, it's actually easier to work with than most Ethernet cables I've come across. It lined up fairly easily as I slid it across my palm as I unfolded it. In short, this is a good quality external cable that is not at all fiddly to use.
