Product repurposed for pets but maybe not the best solution

We've all seen videos of a "talking" dog using a set of 50 or 60 buttons built into mats to communicate with your owner . . The idea of actually communicating with our pets in a meaningful way that goes beyond body language is alluring. It is clear that they understand much more than we always understand and it will be very difficult for them if we do not act on their message. This set of four buttons is sold specifically to help your dog talk to you. I got them, played with them, and then really researched to see what people were using in the videos. The system used by most of these people involves mats for holding buttons and smaller buttons organized into concept groups. action words, feelings, objects, etc. It then requires a certain amount of training to get the pet to understand and use the buttons to communicate. The idea is that you use the record feature on the button to record your voice as you say a word or phrase. , then you press the button while interacting with the dog, maybe even showing him how to do it. Over time, an intelligent dog will learn to use buttons to communicate. It's like the old "doorknob" trick people use to let their dog tell them when to go to the potty. The problem with these special buttons is that they cannot be pinned. easy. There doesn't seem to be a mat system to use them with, meaning you'll have to build something yourself. In addition, they require a certain amount of force to be pressed. I've read that the best buttons are fairly easy to press, so they don't require much manual dexterity to operate. The sound quality is decent, but a fairly firm pressure makes the use questionable. If you're teaching your dog to use them, you want them to be easy to use, since the dog probably won't bother if they're not working half the time. So they will probably work if you want. on the cheap. But if you're really serious about it, it's probably time to look into one of the professionally designed systems available. They won't be that cheap, but I'm sure the results will be better.
