Lots of reviews, I won't repeat them all here. There are many options for running backpacks, but I prefer one from a reputable backpack manufacturer rather than a mass-produced backpack simply produced by a large clothing company. Osprey knows how to make backpacks, and they have a lifetime warranty that covers everything but basic abuse (the warranty is on the included box label if you buy this bag new). It sits well on me and doesn't pinch when I run. I'm 5ft 9", 172lbs and wear big t-shirts and my jacket is a 40 bust and 32" waist. I bought this Osprey Duro 6 in M/L and it fits me perfectly. I wouldn't change the fit to a bigger or smaller and it stays in place well. Love the drawstring side straps, I'm not crazy about grabber style chest straps that slide anywhere on the pack. I use one on the top setting and the other on the bottom setting. They're weird in that they bite into the plastic strips on each side and I think they'll break or wear out over time, but I don't really know what it is. I wish they were just sewn in place where they are. will probably be ok and never get lost. The backpack can't be used without the straps or it will flap hard and sag down the front, so it's very dependent on those two straps and the four small plastic clips that hold the two front bibs in place and hold position. straps present. I'm not a big fan of the water blister for mold and mildew and this 50 ounce bag is no exception. The best use of water and cleaning is to use a drinking chamber: fill the chamber with water immediately after a run and put it back in the fridge and mold won't form. Reviewers are complaining about the leak, but I haven't encountered it yet and will update the review if I do. Of course, if you turn it upside down it will flow through the valves, but if you turn it upside down and let it run, there are no problems. I'm very glad I got the 6 liter pack instead of the larger, I think 15 liter pack. I wouldn't want it to be any bigger for the long summer runs I use. If it was a day pack you would want more, but 15L is very similar to using a backpack. This one is great for your phone, keys, raincoat, rain pants, etc. I think the larger Duro has a waist belt, but the Duro 6 definitely doesn't have or need one. When using the chest straps, it fits very snugly against the body. No movement to speak of, even when carried relatively empty or with only a water bladder. I have an iPhone XR (big, Max, I guess) and it's in the Otterbox Defender case, which is huge and still fits on the left side. Zippered pocket with some effort and padding. I buy a smaller case and then the iPhone should fit even easier, I like where it sits because the speaker (which is on the end of the phone) can be vertical and is only 8-10 inches from my ear, so If I don't, you don't need headphones. I hear it in my zip pocket. It's hard to find a running backpack that actually has a useful shoulder strap pocket that can hold any size phone and hold it to your ear. Most backpacks only have fanny packs that keep the phone away from your ears, so the volume needs to be a lot louder; This bag doesn't have that problem. Note: When routing and initially cutting the hydration tube, remember that the phone and zip pocket are only on the left strap (there is no zip pocket on the right strap), allowing you to keep the handset away from the phone (i.e. handset via the right shoulder) to prevent water from getting on the phone. If you leave the drinking line on the left side (as is) and then cut it to length, it may not work on the right shoulder if you find that the phone and receiver aren't perfect on the same side. However, for your purposes, keep in mind that the water hose can be placed on either side, but the large zipped pocket is only on the left side (and the smaller unzipped pockets are on either side - I put my car keys in. I love this vest for runs in summer really!
