I had the very first model of this bag; after three years, the lightning on it stopped working, and rather than fixing it, I opted to replace it with a brand-new model—in vain. Take the earlier model—still it's a good backpack, but you get the impression that you're being taken advantage of. Everything you need is there, including a great compartment that is waterproof for an umbrella, a lovely addition for glasses, and padded sections for a tablet and a laptop computer. The holders are very cool; they prevent the backpack from opening completely when it is worn on the back. A few drawbacks: the second iteration of this backpack is substantially less expensive than the first. Every material has become more affordable and more streamlined. In the past, the walls of each compartment were made of a pliable and thick material, but now they are made of cellophane. The compartment for your laptop is still sturdy, however the rest of the bag is made of cheap materials.
