Review on HOYOA Charger 12V Charger Battery Maintainer Trickle Desulfator by Chris Meckler

I bought this to charge another car battery that had been idle for a while. It has all the bells and whistles as advertised and comes with a clip and round cord. The jump started my car (with a different jumper) and after some driving it was plugged in. Charging started at 25%, after that it reached 50% and more and is charging. decided to test the battery. Parked and the car won't start. After trying to charge for another 3-4 hours I gave up and just replaced the battery. So it's not good for charging a nearly empty battery as indicated in the last picture. (One star deducted for that) Otherwise it seems to be a worthy product, like the Trickle Charger. I considered returning this but then tried another car with a battery in better condition and it charged quite well. I would just leave it as a backup but for charging only I'd rather use the cheaper 1 amp chargers which are slower and better.
