The product was quite easy to install, but these are tiny details that you must take into account. I watched the video to make sure I was doing the repair correctly. However, the product works great! Basically my right joy con would slide out of the console and remote without having to press the trigger. I have found that the plastic part of the lock will wear out over time, the metal replacements work like new and I assume they will not eventually fail like the plastic parts.
