I put these in my 1997 Chevy Blazer 4x4 to temporarily have something in there instead of the rotting ones that came before until I can get the right ones. . The threads are the same as the original and all I had to do was hammer in the little metal tab next to the threads to sit flush with the frame mount, but it works and looks solid enough. I don't plan on using it long-term, but it looks and feels strong enough.
