I went uphill on snow-ice on a country road very confidently, but it is possible that this refers more to the merits of the Subaru Forester. For a quiet everyday driving is very good. Has some cons: On ice, it slows down to C grade. On fresh snow on the pavement in a turn, it was blown away a couple of times.
