Not quite sure who they are made for. You must be over 7 feet tall to use them at their maximum length. But at 5ft 10in I can't wear a belt around my waist so these suspenders put all the weight on my shoulders. The material is excellent, although a clip keeps coming loose from the box when I put my belt on my suspenders. stiffer springs would be great. The shoulder pads are very comfortable, but I can't get them to the right length. I can't imagine this working remotely for anyone below me. I am afraid that I will return
