Didn't work, went back for a refund.
Connected and zeroed. Adjusting the screw moved it about 1 amp, but adding and subtracting a load didn't change it. Ultimately that was positive because I looked for another solution and found that I could use my cheap port freight voltmeter to measure the current drawn, which was all I needed anyway.
