These batteries are a good value and work very well.The major downside, however, is the communication ports on the top. If these get damaged, Renogy provides no repair option except to replace the entire battery. If the batter turns off and the ports are damaged, you can't turn it back on with a damaged port even if the entire battery itself is fine.The ports are on a small circuit board that should be replaceable, but Renogy provides no replacement option and no official repair option.So be warned that you should only use these batteries where there is no chance for the port to get damaged.
