Review on 🏔️ Conquer Any Terrain with Outdoor Research Men's Expedition Crocodile Gaiters by Tim Surridge

I should clarify and note that I changed the gaiters without any problems. Revain and OR were great. No issues and the next pair had no issues so I think they're good. The following weekend I took her out in the snow alone for a few hours. The pants stayed dry and warm. No problem - they are winners and just what I expected. I do want to mention that the material Outdoor Research uses to protect the boot strap from popping seems a bit flimsy. I wrapped the fabric in electrical tape to keep it from crumbling in the future. I would recommend OR use a heavier fabric if possible. Previous Review: Not sure if this is a defect but just got it in the mail yesterday. I went for an hour walk in the forest. The fabric that prevents the leather strap from being spanked has shown heavy wear and tear. It worries me about durability if it happens after an hour in the snow. If so, I wouldn't spend the money because I really like them and could use them for outdoor activities. I have to take care of replacing them when they're broken, especially when they're $80-$100. Given the rate of wear, they will not last through the winter and will be useless for holding a leather bracelet. Anyone have other problems?
