Review on TIGI Bedhead Manipulator Twin Pack, 2 oz each by Mandy Gonzalez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

THIS IS NOT THE MANIPULATOR'S FAVORITE PHRASE. THAT would get 5 stars!

I don't like the new wording at all. It's too thick, weighs my hair down, doesn't work like the ORIGINAL manipulator I've been using since about 2004. This started out as a comment on a comment on another review, but I decided to just make this review my own and try to clear some doubts. NOT CORRECT. Unilever bought the TiGi BedHead product line just before the death of TiGi co-founder Guy in 2009. Tony (other brother/co-founder) passed away in December 2017. One of her brothers, Anthony, is still TiGi's international creative director. Her brother Bruno is CEO of Toni&Guy USA, a chain of salons that Anthony co-owns. But Unilever owns the products we know and once loved, and companies like this don't release information about changes or formulas, so we'll never know how to make this new thick paste the same consistency as the old, creamy one be able. I've bought it from beauty salons, salons, WalMart, Revain, and now they're all in the 'new' formula, although apparently Unilever TiGi Bedhead will say the formula hasn't changed. Something has definitely changed! For some it is better. It's worse for most. But Unilever doesn't care what we think!
