As a child I stuck my finger in the door and I remember how much it hurt, so I needed something reliable. After reading the negative reviews I was a little skeptical. So for the first time I just bought two to see how it works. That works great. Simply put, if your doors are rickety and your kids slam doors, buy a much more expensive door closer to keep your kids from slamming and your doors secure. But if you really want to protect your child's hands the Handisure product is the product and for me the door I don't care as long as my children are safe. Check out the pictures and the product description which is very clear. The description clearly states that no force should be applied to the door. So you have to decide what is more important. your doors or your children's hands. Each door hinge stopper exerts a force on the hinge through its mechanism. But just in case, I pushed hard on the door and there were no problems. It depends on the door and its installation, not on the product. In order not to waste time with a long description, please read the list. It is very clear and offers everything described. It's a combination of many products, very simple and very well done.
