Review on Rivet Contemporary Welt Trimmed Dining Juniper by Karla Kennedy

Looks nice! but pay attention to the quality of the materials

Here is an honest review of these chairs. #1 They are comfortable on a scale of 1 to 10. They are a solid 9, to get a 10 they would need a bit more padding. #2 They used cheap lumber. When I say the screws they give you may be rusty and not 100% fit pre-drilled holes. Since this happens when you try to install them instead of threading them in, just drill a new hole and the chair will either be lost or you won't be able to screw them in. I had some sheet metal screws I was trying to use and because the wood is cheap it won't handle the torque if set at an angle and the wood will split. You could charge an extra $5 and use threaded inserts in the holes which would not only make assembly easier but also improve quality. #3 If you don't have a torque wrench, impact socket or maybe a hex wrench, don't even consider that it's easy to install since they only give you a hex wrench. They looked good but due to installation issues they didn't fit me or my family.

Pros
  • Simple design with elegant piping
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
