'Small Utility' vs 'On the Go' Crossbody

Update I want you to know that 'Citronella Small Utility' seems to find every place. Spray on Instaclean. FYI, I stuffed it to the brim and the zipper slides like butter. Original rating. I need you to know that I'm not Vera Bradley's husband. I have 2 personal styles. Neither has anything to do with flowers. A classic with lots of black, silver accessories and a neutral faux leather shoulder bag. And every day. Yoga pants, tank top, jacket with buttons and pink backpack. So trying Vera was a big leap out of my comfort zone, but my mom loves her stuff so I gave it a try. Mom was right, of course. The bag is durable, has lots of pockets and says I'm eco-friendly. I knew I wanted a shoulder bag so I tried 2 and found this. Utility vs On-the-Go Comparison Over the Shoulder* Same height and width, 8x12* Same twin inner pockets plus zip pocket Utility style has pocket and pocket on same side. "Go" is opposite sides* Both zippers run the full length of the bag. It's a huge inner bag * Both have incredibly long, adjustable handles. Moved from chest to hips at 5'10*. Both survived the rain. Water rolls off Differences >Slightly useful< >>>On the go<<< Nylon strap >>>>>>> Cotton strap Smooth appearance >>>>> Quilted appearance 1- Extra water bag >>> 2- Extra water bag Additional flap pocket >>>>> > 2" depth Additional zippered pocket >>>>>> 5" depth (backpack style)** VeraBoth Observations can be flipped over with the right zipper and detachable handles. I wish the handles were hooked rather than sewn for more options, but also because the 'Citronella Utility' has an almost green strap that masks the image rather than the fan. Do you prefer "Go Butterfly By" in reverse order and want to replace the ribbon. Fan, but fully functional on board. The "Utility" still has a streamlined, clean look with a lot more space. This is the first time I don't have to juggle or choose what to wear. I like having a water bottle pocket and a handy phone/sanitizer pocket. "On the go" gives me all the space in my backpack with easy access. Even the reversed (no, I can't use the zipper) side pockets are functional on the inside. Great job bag with all my planting tools and gift cards. I color my 'Utility' dark blue because I like the bag, but light green and I'm not a friend. When it comes to functionality and comfort, Vera has it all. Plus a thumbs up for recycling. We need more people like Vera.

Pros
  • Something too silly about it
