Review on Joie Piggy Microwave Bacon Tray with Splatter Lid: Conveniently Cook 4-5 Strips of Bacon in Minutes! by Erica Green

The microwave in our trailer is a little smaller than most household microwaves and most bacon cooking pans were too big to go all the way go carousel. We used a smaller skillet to cook the bacon, but it was a lightweight plastic that tended to melt from the hot bacon grease. This tray isn't as strong plastic as the larger bacon grills, but so far it's been strong enough to handle hot bacon. It's also smoother than smaller trays, making it easier to clean. The vented lid is great because we don't have to rely on a paper towel to absorb spills. We noticed that the bacon cooks a little faster with the lid on and we had to reduce the cooking time a bit. I wouldn't recommend this tray for a microwave big enough to use larger, heavier trays, but it seems perfect for smaller microwaves.
