Aside from being a great way to make bacon, it's also super cute and makes me laugh every time I use it. Following suggestions from other reviewers, I used paper towels under and over the strips of bacon the first time I used it. Next time I'll try without paper towels. I don't know why there are so many good reviews. It doesn't work as promised. The bacon will burn in the middle and stay raw on both ends so you can't eat it. This thing cooks bacon great! As someone else recommended in their review, I place 1/2 sheet of paper towel under the bacon slices and place another 1/2 sheet on top of the bacon before putting the lid on. Then I heat them on high for about 1.5 minutes per slice. I also use very thick slices of bacon. The result is amazing! All slices are very crispy, there is almost no fat on them.
