Quality. Fluke, they go hand in hand. I wanted to keep a caliper in the garage but didn't need a 189 or a scope/meter like I have in my project room. 15-B corresponds to the invoice. The display is large and backlit. The probes are very flexible and last a lifetime. The gauge is accurate compared to my high end flukes. You can get a lot more features for less money from other brands; none last as long as Fluke. The Fluke is like a good European car that you buy because you want it to last. You can still buy counters or buy one: Fluke. UPDATE: Well, having used the 15B for a bit, I'm not so convinced. The continuous tone is weaker than other more expensive flukes I've used. The luggage rack is not that thick. In fact, I built a wooden "hut" for the 15B for stability reasons. Invest in Fluke professional probes; The included probes are not as flexible as I originally thought. Working outdoors during the cold months will be challenging. Finally, and importantly, the 15B doesn't "react" to changes in resistance and voltage as quickly as other models. For this reason I am now thinking about a model change. To be honest I will go to an authorized Fluke dealer again.
