I wanted a more natural toothpaste at a lower price point (packaging wise). There definitely is. I would like the lid to be plastic but I understand I'm very picky. This is excellent value for money. BUT, taste. Holy cow. It's VERY different from regular toothpaste and I honestly didn't think I could keep using it. But now that I've used it for a bit, I've gotten used to it and it doesn't really bother me. The texture also takes some getting used to as it is clay based. After that, I have to rinse my mouth thoroughly to remove any residue. But I wanted naturalness and that's what I got. I've been so used to sweet, chemical-laden toothpaste my entire life that I'm sick of it. If you are looking for a natural toothpaste then you have come to the right place. But just find out about the differences before you buy.
