I was nervous after reading the other reviews which of course I did AFTER I bought the product. I laid it super shiny/metallic side down and placed my cricket maker on a shiny iron when installing. He just cut well. It was difficult to start weeding, but once I put the tool there it was very easy. The second time I used it I forgot to switch to the glitter vinyl setting and it was left on a regular daily iron. I tried to do a double cut but ended up having to throw those pieces away. They are easy to iron. He peeled off both hot and cold, hot was definitely easier.
