Well this version of the MacAlly keyboard is definitely a lot more reliable than the cheap plastic version I got 6 months ago. that nobody could handle my rigid writing style and the strength of my fingers (especially left shift, command and control keys). The aluminum box I'm currently using looks more like a real keyboard. The keys are much smoother, a little flatter and much more responsive. Pros: Flat keyboard that fits my large hands well, full Apple support with extra function keys, programmable media function keys. Cons: Haven't found one yet. This $49 keyboard seems a bit pricey, but so far it's worth every penny. I also like the fact that it has built in USB ports so I can connect my braille display as well as a mouse (since a blind person would ever use a mouse). If you are looking for cheap this is not it. However, if you're looking for something that "just works" and is of acceptable quality, then look no further. Of course, there are better ones, but given the value for money, few fall into this range.
