I needed a new liquid measuring cup and this set works better than any other I've used. They measure increments from 1 mL to 1 cup, in both metric and imperial units. Milliliters, ounces, teaspoons/tablespoons, any unit of volume you use in your recipe will work. The markings are easy to read and do not wear off even after repeated washing. They can be washed in the dishwasher and are therefore very easy to care for. I have used them with oils, spirits and other liquids and have had no problems. I generally prefer glass over plastic, but the material they're made of is smooth and durable enough that it doesn't scratch at all and still look shiny and new despite daily use. The bases are lightly rubberized so they stay where you put them when you pour them in and they fold neatly so they don't take up much space in my kitchen. The color coding is nice too, it helps me figure out exactly what size to get and they are aesthetically pleasing when put together. If I ever need to replace them I will get the same ones, I am always amazed by OXO's great design and this is no exception!
