Review on 🎥 PCIe DeckLink Studio 4K Capture and Playback Card by Blackmagic Design by Raymond Vogel

1) Cannot record from HDMI (should have an SDI input) in DaVinci Resolve - maybe this will be fixed in later versions. If you want to capture non-SDI in Resolve you need to convert it externally to SDI and then to this (or any other) Decklink.RMA, they "found no bug" at the end (testing it so it wouldn't reproducible). They send me the card back and I suspect I will still have the problem. A NOTICE. Side issue: If you connect a computer (nVidia GPU) with HDMI output directly to Decklink, EDID describes itself as a 1080i59.94 (max) supported device. If I connect an HDMI splitter, I can record at 1080p60 (recording in Media Express, OBS, or a custom version of the FFMPEG command line). "corrected" myself. I had a longer review but I narrowed it down to this one. UPDATE: The map has been returned and the random static noise is GONE. I've asked them if they've done any hardware updates (firmware and/or component level) but haven't gotten a response yet. Goed down from 2 stars to 4, however not having a card for 2 weeks has been an issue and we will continue to monitor the left channel more closely for random static.
