Review on 🎧 Bose A20 Aviation Headset with 6-Pin Plug Cable, Standard Black by Derrick Feliciano

Review Update June 9th 2021 I never cease to be amazed at how well the ambient noise cancellation works on this headset. It amazes me that hitting the power button on a Bose would just kill the engine noise on the Aeronca Champ I fly. Wonderful. The headset is so comfortable for me that I don't notice it during a 1 hour flight. Originally reviewed April 29, 2021 I took flight lessons on the Aeronca Champ which not only has a loud motor but also a sliding window. I like being a little open which lets the noise through. For my first flight I rented a headset at the airport. I didn't hear the teacher well. It was loud enough but didn't have a good ANC. I knew I had to solve this problem in order to keep my learning potential at the highest possible level. So I picked the best of this Bose A20. Today I tried this Bose for the first time. The engine was already running and I was sitting in the front seat by the open window. It was loud. I put this headset on and hit the power button. At first I thought I must have done something to stop the engine. It was so good. I was amazed and noticed a few times with the instructor how this headset drowns out the noise of the Champ engine. I am very impressed. Yes, it has Bluetooth and I've tried it, but I have $300 home use headphones that work fine. I suppose if you're planning on making calls off the air Bluetooth might be a good option. I assume there may be other aviation devices that use Bluetooth. As for me, I could do without it, but it didn't add to the cost. I highly recommend the Bose A20 Aviation Headset.
