Unfortunately my husband kicked me out of the garage. Luckily he got me that remote start for my 4Runner which has been on my wish list for months because I was too nervous to pull the trigger. After many days of loading and unloading my kids into the freezing crescent car, I finally pulled the trigger. I use this remote start for the second day. 3 clicks on the lock button (no extra key!) and after a few seconds my 4Runner starts. Now it's a bit slower than the factory remote start, but NO COMPLAINTS FROM ME! Your car will turn itself off after 15 minutes if you haven't already entered it. If you get in, the car will turn off as soon as you open the door. My husband says it's Toyota safety related, but it's also listed in the owner's manual. I'm so happy and would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick and easy remote boot install.
