Review on Khadi Herbal Light Brown Henna by Maria Jones

I'm estrogen-dominant, so I try to use products that are free of hormone-disrupting chemicals — some of which are found in traditional hair dyes. Not only is it all natural, but it's also easier to use than chemical-based paint. I love this company. Henna smells fresh and I love that the proceeds help people live independently. I used Amla on its own, it's an incredibly vibrant copper color (I've posted photos on this site - link below). I wanted to dial it down a bit so I mixed this up (3/4 tan, 1/4 amla) and it's perfect. The mixture still paints over the gray hair and does not fade. I mix it up the night before and add some yogurt which helps smooth out the consistency so I can pour it into a spouted bottle. I apply it to the roots, blend gently towards the ends and leave on for 2 hours. So easy. You don't have to be exact with the root coverage, just make sure you cover all the hair patches.
