Stands alone, making a great laundry basket. The impregnation allows me to use it in the bathroom without worrying about a leak moldying my dry but dirty clothes. normal large load. It can be washed and dried. It's weird for me to put clean clothes in the same bin I just put my dirty ones in. Have you ever tried cleaning your laundry basket with detergents or wipes? Yeah I've been doing it all the time and it's no fun. So now I keep it as a laundry basket in the bathroom. When it's full, I just carry it to the washer/laundry by the sturdy handles (depending on how my washer and dryer feel, but that's another story!), stuff the clothes and bag/basket in the washing machine, then into the dryer, and then take out the bag first, put the clean clothes in, put the clean clothes away, and the bag/basket comes back to hold more dirty clothes. If I had a large family, every bedroom and bathroom in my house would have one of these baskets/bags!
