This dog bed is vacuum packed so you will need to leave it for a while for it to inflate in front of you. try to make a bed. It comes with instructions stating to lay one side first, then the backing, the other side and finally the floor mat. The first time we did it backwards and laid the mat first because laying the sides first makes it more difficult to lay the mat. There are pockets for two side pillows but none for the "back" side. Sofa, that's probably the problem. When we zipped up the back cushion didn't stay in place and sagged as you can see in Photo 1. We enlarged it a bit and made sure the white sheet was inside under the back pillow and it got a little better. as you can see in the 2nd photo. Finally, you can see in the 3rd photo that this is definitely dog legal! He's been driving it since we put it out together. The fabric is a really good material and I'm glad everything is washable. The memory foam pillow is quite thick and the bed feels comfortable. The side airbags are literally my only complaint, and it's not the end of the world.
