I love the performance of this straightener. It heats up very quickly and is very light. I like that the plates are thin which makes the tool very comfortable and avoids burning your head or ears. I always use hair oil or heat protectant carefully and rarely have to go through a section of hair more than once, which helps prevent damage. I've dabbled a lot with irons and had no idea if I needed titanium, ceramic, etc. I used this iron at a friend's house but it had digital controls. I thought I would get this model. The only downside I can say about this iron is that it's hard to see on the dial what temperature your heat is set to. It doesn't read like a regular time watch. For example, they cannot say whether you have a fever of 230 or 330. Another negative point is that it was not possible to register my product. In the case of recalls and product defects, I usually try to do this with expensive electronics and tools. I'm not going to lie, this made me doubt the authenticity a bit based on some of the other reviews, but so far so good. You can be sure I will be back if anything changes - my money is too precious to waste on fakes. In summary, I recommend a flat iron if you are looking for a flat iron that works on hair that other flat irons cannot.
