My son was 2.5 years old when we started using this product. For several months he had a horrible nocturnal cough that nothing seemed to ease. We even took him to the doctor who recommended using Buterol at night to open his airways and it didn't even help. We live in a brand new house and I wash his bedding weekly in very hot water to kill dust mites or anything else that might be making him cough. ordered it immediately as a last ditch effort to resolve the issue. As soon as it arrived I put it in his room on high power and let it run non-stop all day. When it came time for my son to go to bed he was very excited to have a new 'friend' in his room and that night after falling asleep was the first night in over 6 months , in which he did not cough! I couldn't believe that such a simple solution solved months of suffering! Now we turn it off during the day but let it hibernate all night. Since then we haven't had any more problems with coughing and I swear when I go into his room I even breathe easier! I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to provide their children with the cleanest air! I can't be happier with my purchase!
