Review on 🎧 Final Audio Design E3000 High Resolution Headphone - Sleek Stainless Steel (Black) for Immersive Audio Experience by Seth Gibbons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best headphones in the $50 range and overall BETTER than the cheaper E2000s.

These are probably the best headphones in the $50 range you can buy for high fidelity sound. I was planning to buy this because of the good audiophile reviews, but then I saw some YouTube videos and some reviews here on Revain favoring the cheaper E2000. So I bought both and tried them for 2-3 weeks to see which is better. The E3000 is stainless steel, it looks and feels good, it has more weight and a more premium feel. The E2000 is made of aluminum and while it's still very high quality for its price range, it can't quite match the feel of the E3000. The rest of the package is identical, cables, accessories in the box etc. There are additional ear pads of different sizes in the kit but I found the installed ones comfortable so I didn't try any others. Speaking of which, the rubber earcups are quite comfortable for long listening sessions and sit in my ear easily. Slightly higher quality material, E3000 is the best headphone. The E2000s are also fantastic headphones BUT they were too bright for my liking and TIRED for prolonged listening. it definitely lacked bass, and overall I think it's better for techno, electronic music, while the E3000 works for jazz, blues, etc (audiophile music). For comparison, I've heard them on my desktop with an external DAC and on my iPhone while listening to Tidal lossless music. I was able to turn the volume up to maximum on the E3000 for ease of listening and it sounded great. I attribute this to some of the E2000's treble boost making it bright and punchy at higher volumes and definitely NOT audiophile quality. 100 dollars. They're not as thick (Sony's are the best I've had), and Sony's build quality is a little better, and the cables are a little better. BUT the sound of the E3000 is simply clearer, flatter and more audiophile. Also, one of the main reasons I bought them was to see if they fit the iPhone battery, and they do! I ended up returning the E2000 and keeping the E3000. You can't go wrong with either, but it depends on what you prefer. Clear, bright sound or flatter, lower frequencies? Either way, GREAT VALUE for these Japanese headphones. Highly recommended! Pros: - Very light and comfortable to wear - High quality stainless steel body why above the price range - Fantastic controlled bass - Excellent mids and tiring highs (compared to E2000) - 3.5mm jack works with iPhone battery (see photo) - Easy to control with your phone - Overall a very hi-fi sounding headphone, mostly flat over most of the range and great for listening to jazz, blues, rock. Cons: - No volume control or phone - Cable could be a little better, but for $55 it's quite adequate
