You will not regret the in-ear headphones

I read online that the sound quality of the e3000 is well above its price. The sound is good, but personally I wouldn't be thrilled. If you're a fan of warm sound with an excess of low mids, you might like the sound. That's not to say there aren't high-end headphones like the cheaper in-ears out there. The top end is well supported, and there. Too much bass and mids for my taste. Very convenient! the design doesn't look particularly cozy, but the headphones are of a much higher quality thanโ€ฆ

Mostly neutral sound, light weight, great comfort

The sound quality isn't great on an absolute scale, but I'd say it's ok for the price. The sound signature is more or less neutral but with a bass bias. Most people would consider it harmless. The highs and upper-mids (including female vocals) may be a bit deep, but I'm sensitive to high frequencies and I don't find the E3000 harsh or bright like most "neutral" headphones in this price range. Great convenience: they are small and unobtrusive. I used medium tips at first and they felt good andโ€ฆ

Headphones are good enough for my headphones

I've never had really good quality in-ear headphones (also called "ear headphones"). No, the disposables that Apple gives away with its iPods don't count. My reference headphones are Sony MDR-V7506 and Audio Technica ATH-M40x. These E3000s sound closer to Audio Technicas than Sony. This means they sound fuller, wetter and fuller than average. Not thin or bright at all. Of course, this can interfere with use as real studio monitors, but I don't use them in the studio. They are used with theโ€ฆ

FASHION? Just unbelievable.

I don't usually write reviews but this one left me speechless. How would you say it? First WOW. They are amazing. For clay. It was the sonic signature I've been trying to find ever since I dreamed of JVC's Hi-End line and the Monsters Turbo series. This is my audiophile dream that keeps coming true. I'll get to the sweets in a moment. I'm a bass player but I like the balance where the bass is in control and the frequencies are strong enough to keep it going. The E3000 are capable of producingโ€ฆ

The sound is picky but it's KEEPERS

I'm not ashamed to return the headphones, I don't like them but these are KEEPERS. They may have been the happiest headphones since my beloved Nuforce NE-700X. But to be honest, in 2014 they cost $90. Update after 2 weeks of use: I went for a bigger earbud and now they don't sit as far in the ear. Bass and soundstage are enhanced with more air around the instruments. I love it. I don't catch myself thinking that they do this or that in terms of sound. Just play music. I think that little LITTLE

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are cons

These are probably the best headphones in the $50 range you can buy for high fidelity sound. I was planning to buy this because of the good audiophile reviews, but then I saw some YouTube videos and some reviews here on Revain favoring the cheaper E2000. So I bought both and tried them for 2-3 weeks to see which is better. The E3000 is stainless steel, it looks and feels good, it has more weight and a more premium feel. The E2000 is made of aluminum and while it's still very high quality forโ€ฆ
