Inexpensive Oven Door Repair
I have an old range that is no longer made. The oven door was spring loaded and did not close fully. The home warranty company said they couldn't find the part and wanted to replace it with a new one. I really liked mine so I tried to find a way to fix it myself. Range is a tank. Didn't think the magnet would work. To my surprise, a bar magnet superglued to each side of the top of the door worked great! I later read that these type of magnets don't take much heat, but I've been wearing them for about a year and they're still fine. They are so small that you don't even notice them.
