I like the fit and the stabilizer is very reliable. I wore them in Michigan for a month during the winter and haven't had a single slip or fall. They work well on hills and steep driveways. On uneven ice that looked like tire tracks, I could feel them sometimes slip an inch or two and push through the snow when my heels were up. I tested them on a mound of clear/glazed/shiny ice and they actually slid an inch before the spikes smashed into them. I had no problems on hoarfrost and other ice and snow. The only time I slipped was on the concrete floor of the garage. There are aggressive macro lugs that you can tighten if you need more grip (currently $19.95). I made sure the spikes (bolts) were tight before using them and they stayed tight for many miles of walking and working. Bought a few extras in case they wear out or get lost. Great product so far!
