What I like best about this tool is that the click is very distinct when the desired torque is reached. The various adapters add to the usefulness of this tool, especially when compared to the torque tools I've had that only work with heads. I had to go back a bit to use another tool (included) to set the torque on this driver, but it's not hard to do. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you want to do odd inch-pounds you must estimate since only even measurements are shown. So far I've used it to mount optical sights and mounts and plan to use it for firearm assembly and possible other mechanical applications. It was quite expensive for me, but I also only wanted to buy one of these. Update (2021): Since purchasing it in 2013 I have received a different brand dynamometer with a very similar torque range - it was part of the scope mounting kit. When comparing two torque screwdrivers, I really think Wiha is better. The TorqueVario-S torque screwdriver's torque settings are more accurate, even with the even numbers marked on Wiha, and the breaking point seems better to me than other screwdriver brands. Of course, if bought separately, a driver from another brand is much cheaper than Wiha. I have never regretted buying the Wiha TorqueVario-S torque screwdriver.
