Review on πŸš— Spectra Premium CU161 Complete Radiator: Ideal for GM Model Cars and Trucks by Jason Vigen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

1977 GM B-body vehicles can also use this GM pickup cooler

Installed this aluminum plastic radiator on a 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with a 350 Chevy 4 cylinder engine with air conditioning in place of the old copper/brass radiator. All I had to do was 1) bend the driver's side air baffle slightly away from the tank to keep it from rubbing, 2) use a knife to slightly trim the rubber mounts to fit the wider driver's side tank, and 3 ) Apply sealant to the inside and outside of the flare and threads of a transmission cooler line to prevent slow leakage (prevents the risk of over-tightening and stripping the threads in the cooler). Otherwise, this GM pickup radiator is an almost perfect match for 1977 GM B-body vehicles with a factory radiator 28 and a few inches wide. Weighs half as much. The old 7psi radiator cap still fits - just a little tighter around the piston than on the old radiator. It's been out for a week at a temperature of 75-80 degrees and works perfectly. No leaks.
