Bought this to replace my Lepai 2020 which was slowly dying after eight years of intensive use of the boombox I built for my shop. It's almost identical, so it's a great replacement. I use a 5A power supply, which makes a noticeable difference at high volume. If you're putting heavy loads on the amp, the included power supply probably won't be enough. Whatever you do, don't use the EQ on the amp, it sounds awful - great that you can bypass it. I'm sure it doesn't have 30 watts per channel, but it drives a pair of inexpensive 6.5-inch car speakers, which is just enough to fill a 600-square-foot store. ft. These little amps are great for harsh environments where you wouldn't want to use anything nicer. I hope this lasts me another eight years. Correction: The power supply that came with the Pyle amp is rated at 2.5A, which is fine. My Lepai was equipped with a 1A power supply, which was insufficient. I should have looked at it before turning it down.
