Review on πŸ”† Hunter Swanson Ceiling Fan with LED Lights and Pull Chain Control, 44-inch, Fresh White by Marisela Hernandez

Cover Top of fan housing Holes

The fan works well, is very quiet and well balanced. One of the sockets of the lamp is misaligned, causing the bulb to touch the glass. You must not try to reattach it, otherwise you may cause a short circuit. Big minus for me, bad quality. Assuming CFL bulbs are comparable to 40W, but they aren't that annoyingly bright. Get a comparable 25W CFL or LED. Prefer incandescent bulbs for the bedroom for the softer light, but the fan says you should only use CFLs or LEDs, incandescent bulbs can have overheating issues. Mounting the fan was easy, including using my prop. The blades are unnecessarily complex. The 44-inch ridgeline, which is now obsolete, had push-fit blades that snapped onto the handle, which is a lot easier. The case mounting screw was screwed into the top of the fan. Why does the bottom of the fan have a mesh cover but the top holes don't? I've never installed a fan without the screw falling into the case, but I forgot that it takes 10-15 years between fan installs. Later I covered all the holes with a piece of plastic to continue the process. Of course I couldn't find my retractable magnet to remove the screw until I'd already tried needle nose pliers and long tweezers but to no avail. Finally, a pair of scissors grabbed a screw from the fan housing and then in just 10 minutes I found my retractable magnet right where it was supposed to be. I would say that of all the Hunter fans I have installed this one falls short of its previous quality standards.
