The lid fitted my car well and was easy to screw on once I carefully screwed the aluminum lid onto the plastic container. I sealed it well. It took quite a bit of pumping to get adequate pressure, which would have been easier if I filled the tank with liquid. I decided to let it run dry and just pressed the system. It worked well, in my car I was able to bleed each of the 4 wheels with a fluid reservoir each. I think it's up to you to decide if it's less time to clean this thing after filling it with liquid or unscrew it, fill the car's tank and then reseal it 4 or 5 times. Overall I saved about $500 compared to the store. do a laundry. I also had some time to check things on my 120,000 mile car like brake pads, suspension bushings etc and listen to some factory tunes. When I went to the dealer, left it, rented it, etc, etc, I had the job done for less.
