Review on 🚗 Walker Exhaust Ultra EPA 16398 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter Integrated with Exhaust Manifold by Andrew Davenport

For the price of this device I am very satisfied. The flange that mates with the cylinder head is far superior to the design of the works part, as the flange is thick steel plate rather than a stamped steel works part. Everything fits perfectly. One thing to have in your toolbox prior to installation is an oxygen sensor threading tool (I bought this at an auto parts store for $13.99). When I tried to screw the oxygen sensor into the connector on the manifold, it kept spinning no matter how many times I tried. After threading the threading tool in and out a few times (with a lot of resistance indicating the threads had deformed in some way), the oxygen sensor threaded itself in perfectly. My guess is that the connector threads were not turned after welding. Threads are often deformed as a result of welding, which is why recutting is usually necessary after welding. Maybe the distributor I got was just something that slipped past that station at the factory. Anyway, apart from this problem, the installation went well and it fit perfectly. In my opinion, this device is definitely better than the factory one.
