Review on 🌱 Nuzest Smooth Vanilla Clean Lean Protein - Premium Vegan Protein Powder with European Golden Pea Protein, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, GMO-Free - Single Serving by Michelle Wright

Like most plant-based/vegan protein powders, Nuzest has a more pudding-like texture and earthy taste, but I was really impressed with the taste. It's quite amazing, the taste of "Smooth Vanilla" smells and tastes like smooth vanilla ice cream. What's even more surprising is that Nuzest makes it with clean and short ingredients: just pea protein, flavors, and a sweetener extracted from fruit. I actually only ordered a sample pack as I have never used this brand of protein powder before. It's very expensive for just one serving, but personally I like to try before making a big purchase. I really appreciate it when brands offer this opportunity. I personally don't drink shakes or smoothies, so I can't comment on how it dissolves in a shake or tastes like it feels. I only use protein powder to boost the protein content of baked goods, pancakes/waffles, or my morning oatmeal. I ended up using the sample for a blondie recipe (which also included winter squash puree and flaxseed flour); mixes easily with ingredients, dissolves completely and bakes well; Cakes were less dry and less "burned" compared to whey protein (vegetable protein always bakes better than whey/casein protein); it added a very nice smooth and not too sweet vanilla flavor.
