I can actually get over 1A with one case, which is far in excess of what I can get with another receiver from another brand (Nilikin ) have achieved. I rarely went above 600mA while doing this (measured by the Ampere app on OnePlus 8, I've tried measuring it with a separate USB-C power meter, but that's kind of an artificial setting as you'll never know the position exactly (A real charging case site.) Here I saw up to 1200mA. This is after considering what the phone uses to launch the screen etc. during the measurement. However, the specific pad makes a big difference, I have 2 generations of Samsung Fast Wireless Charging Cradles and only the new one performs consistently well, but it had the same issue with a different receiver. Only thing I wish there was a better way to remove the plug when trying to use a cable instead, the little nail socket in the socket is hard to reach in a case. Also, the double sided tape on this thing is a joke, only maybe 1/4 by 1/2, not enough to keep this thing separate unless you're using it in a suitcase. Update: About 3 weeks later the thing stopped loading constantly. The pad almost always recognizes this, but after 10 seconds or a minute it will stop and only occasionally pick up again (seems to depend on the pad).
