What is NOT in the box, at least in the box they sent me: a VGA cable and an HDMI cable. Thank you guys. I've also never had a new monitor that required so many adjustments for real-world use. I couldn't maximize an open app to view it on screen - it just popped up at the bottom of my taskbar. Eventually I called Dell support who was outsourced to a third party located god knows where. I could barely hear the person speak and he could barely speak English. I understand that English is not the native language of people working in India or other places Dell has moved its support team to (so it can pay people 12 cents a day) but if you have customers in English speaking countries operate, a certain fluency and accent clarity, it seems, is a requirement for employment. Dell support was unable to help me resolve display issues and didn't address missing parts (told me to call another number which turned out to be down). I finally gave up and returned the item for a refund. I had a similar HP monitor, and while I would have expected a similar experience if I had to call HP support, I didn't have to. Plugged in and played. It should be so. Not impressed Dell.
