This kit seemed very valuable compared to the original parts. However, after replacing the reel bars and using them for a few weeks, I discovered a horrible fatal flaw: rubbing the accumulated dirt around the reel bars caused the swivel to heat up and actually melted the plastic of the roller bar! I had to carefully disassemble the entire assembly and cut off the melted plastic. It almost caused permanent damage to my $1,000 Roomba. See attached photos. I've been using this Roomba for over a year and I've never had such a problem with regular cleaning and genuine parts. But when I used these cheaper alternative parts, this problem started occurring within a few weeks. I suspect these off-brand parts are made from cheaper materials that can't handle the friction and heat of typical dirt build-up. I would NOT recommend you to use these non-genuine parts to avoid risking your expensive robot vacuum cleaner.
